2017 Youth Summer Series Recap
WOW!  What a great summer with fast times, great distances, tall heights!  With almost 2000 athletes competing all summer over seven weeks it was bound to happen.  The season ended with the State Championship held August 12th, 2017 at Massabesic High School in Waterboro, ME.  The performances got even better at the State Championship.  There were nearly 1000 athletes competing at the State Meet with the youngest age of 4 years old.  Many of the best performances turned into new State Meet Records with a total of seven records being broken over the course of the day.  There was also four new javelin records set with the new javelin weights.  The broken records ranged from 10 years old to two 26 year old records!  We cannot wait to celebrate these broken records and announce the team champions at the Annual Awards Banquet this fall.
