Track Coach Needed

Falmouth Parks and Community Programs is seeking qualified applicants for a Head Coach position for Summer Youth Track and Field.  This position typically meets 3 days a week from the end of June to the middle of August (practices - Tuesday and Wednesday 5:15-6:30pm and meets are on Thursdays between 12-6pm).  The qualified candidate should possess the skills for proper planning of practices and meets, teaching techniques to athletes and keeping athletes safe and healthy.  Ability to teach the training techniques and rules for all of the track and field events is necessary.  The ideal candidate should have experience in coaching track and field, certification in CPR and First Aid, and familiar with data entry using the Hytek system for registering athletes for meets. A minimum of two years of college credits and USATF Level 1 Coaching Certification is required.
