Recent Recognitions

Congratulations to our USATF-Maine members Victoria Bossong and Tyler Patterson who were named a Gatorade State Girl & Boy Track & Field Player of the Year and are now part of a 30+ year legacy that includes past winners such as Derrick Adkins, Peyton Manning, Abby Wambach, Karl-Anthony Towns, Derek Jeter and many other sports icons! The Gatorade Player of the Year program recognizes the nation’s most elite high school student-athletes not only for outstanding athletic excellence, but also high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character – an accomplishment worth talking about! We are so proud of both of you!

Also, congratulations to Maine's Don Berry for being one of 23 officials in the country nominated for the 2021 National Officials Hall of Fame! Don is our Officials chair here at USATF-Maine. Those that are chosen for the Hall of Fame will be announced in September.
