Valaree Langley Foss

We regret to inform you of the passing of the USATF-Maine former president, Valaree Langley Foss. She died unexpectedly on Jan. 18, 2026 due to complications of a medical procedure. Foss is a James Grey Award winner, an award given out by the USATF National Officials Committee at the USATF Annual Meeting each year. "The James Grey Award is given annually to an Official who by providing the leadership, setting the example and going out of their way to help in the development of others in the USATF Officials organization."
